Decorating the Tree

We had so much fun decorating the tree this year as a family of five.  As I unpacked the ornaments and set them out on the table, the boys would run over and pick an ornament to hang on the tree.  Turn after turn after turn, they loved it and they were excited about each ornament.  And Grayson did a great job at running behind his brothers and taking each ornament off the tree.  The boys, with a little help from Daddy, completely decorated the tree.  There was a "Cooper cluster" around the middle of the tree and an "Austin cluster" on the lower portion of the tree.  And Grayson helped himself to any ornament he could reach.  There were lots of empty areas on the tree, but I didn't at all mind.  I absolutely loved the hodgepodge clustered look of our tree--it was decorated with love by my boys.  I didn't change a single thing about it.

 

Austin was so giddy and giggly the entire time.  I don't think he remembered decorating the tree before.  It was all new to him, and he was full of joy!

Outside "Characters"

An Indian, a fireman, and a giggling littlest brother went outside to play...

Indian Chief Daddy joined in for the tribal dance and Indian induction ceremony.

These boys...they are characters.  And I adore them so.
