A couple of weeks ago, I hosted a baby shower with some of my best SWA friends. I was in charge of the cake, so I decided to test my baking and decorating skills and create something from scratch. After picking out the recipe and flavorings, I got to baking! I had my two round (cinnamon chocolate rum) cakes cooling on racks, and after turning my back for a mere second, I turned back around to see this--a big hole in the side. A bite hole? Perhaps... But who?
Clue #1...The tiny hand resting in front of the cake.
Clue #2...My little "helper" gulping down some cold milk.
Clue #3...The crumbs that my little helper so calmly wiped off his mouth after drinking the cold milk. Hmmm....I think the mystery is solved. (PS: I made the little camo apron Coop is wearing. It's his tool/kitchen apron!)
This was the finished cake and cupcakes. I filled the hole with extra icing, and I don't think anyone at the party noticed the bite...I mean"mystery"...hole.
