Day at the Lake

A few weeks ago, some friends of ours invited us to spend the day with them at the lake....umm...yes, please! Coop had never been on a boat before and I had no idea what to expect with him. I came prepared for the worst thinking that Coop might hate the boat and he and I would spend the afternoon up at the house, but nope! After a few minutes of getting used to the wind blowing on his mouth, Coop settled in and enjoyed life on the lake!
Cooper instantly bonded with little Pearce. Everywhere Pearce went or everything Pearce did, there was his little shadow, Cooper. So, when Pearce decided to ride the big tube, Coop was jumping at the chance to tag along!Back to the house for a break, and Coop and Pearce found the perfect spot for their lunch.After lunch we headed back out. Coop hadn't taken a nap this point, so I wasn't sure how the rest of the afternoon would go, but only a few minutes into the ride, I realized I had a snoring baby in my lap (with a hand stuck in the snack cup).
We finished the day off with a cool dip in the lake. Coop had so much fun jumping off the platform. He would count "1..2...3!!" and LEAP into Philip's arms and instantly ask, "again?". He jumped over and over and over and over again.

All in all it was a super fun day and I'm so proud of Cooper and how well he did on the boat. Plus, Philip and I got to brush off our wakeboard legs and now we are both itching to go again!
