It's been a long road, filled with some heartache along the way, but now...finally...I am excited to say that Cooper is going to be a big brother!! In late October, our Team will go from three to four! (I promise that Coop is more excited than this picture shows. This was the best I could get at the moment!!)

I'm 14.5 weeks, and feeling pretty good overall. But mostly, I'm feeling happy, relieved, blessed, and grateful to be 14.5 weeks. I'm looking forward to a continued healthy pregnancy and to find out who God is creating for us.
We went for the early screening testing last week. It's a sonogram and blood work you do before week 14 to check for any signs of Downs or chromosomal abnormalities. Everything checked out a-ok on that front--hooray! And, while doing the sonogram, the doctor told us he got a glimpse at what he thinks Baby might be. He was 98% sure...but I'm not sure I'm ready to post it here just yet. It's still early, and I want to wait for 100% assurance before announcing anything. We'll go back in about five more weeks for another sonogram, so stay tuned! I'm just thankful for a healthy baby and a strong heartbeat!
On the sonogram, Baby, measuring three inches, was moving so much. Kicking legs and arms and turning around to face me at one point. It was exactly what I needed to see--a strong, healthy, active little miracle.
Here we go again!
