February 2013
(Philip put Austin to bed, but he started crying when Philip left the room. It was a sad cry, as opposed to a "getting himself to sleep" cry, so I went back in his room. He laid his head on my shoulder as I picked him up, but raised it after a few seconds, looked at me, and said in the saddest little tone...)Dada go bye bye.
April 2013
Me: Austin, let's go to the store.A: Dada? Poopa?
Me: No, just Mama and Austin. Are you ready?
A: No. (Pointing to Philip and Coop) Dada? Poopa?
Me: You want to stay here with Daddy and Cooper?
A: Dada. Poopa. (Pointing to them, like he wanted to go join them.)
Me: Sorry, Bud. Mama and Austin are going to the store.
A: Bye bye Dada Poopa.

Answers, in the most amazing, sweetest voice, with a huge dimple-showing grin "nooo" to almost anything. Almost like he knows he's being silly. For example...Me: Austin, did you sleep well? A: noooo
Me: Are you silly? A: nooo
Me: Is your name Austin? A: nooo
Me: Is Drake your dog? A: noooo
