Ready for Baby

The nursery is complete! We need to add fun things to the walls still, but we are officially ready for our baby. Mom and I made the bedding (with the help of Aunt Betsy), and I'm so happy with how it turned out! The glider I ordered isn't in just yet; it should be here within the next two weeks. It's a race to see who arrives first--Baby or furniture!

20 Days and Counting

Baby Cupcake's due date is just around the corner. 20 days away...or sooner. I can't believe I'm already at this point. When my friend Megan had her baby girl (Ella), I remember thinking, "Oh, I have such a long time until Cupcake will be here. I can't wait to have a family picture like Megan's!" Then, my friend Amy had little Penelope, and I had the same thoughts! It hit me that my time was getting closer, but still couldn't wait to be in their shoes. Now, here we are. So close to being new parents and meeting this amazing little blessing that God has been building and creating for us for nine months.

The nursery is ready. The car seat is going in the car today. And my bags are packed. Now, all we need is our new little boy.
