My boys

I love these two with everything I have. The whole of my heart. My entire being. They are my world.
And their daddy, too.
Just wanted to share that.

Christmas Eve

We had a pretty quiet Christmas Eve this year. Cooper had kind of a rough night going into Christmas Eve--lots of coughing, waking up, and I thought a fever might be coming on. Sure enough, when he woke up Christmas Eve morning, he had a fever and told me he didn't feel good. We kept things low key during the day, talking about Santa and the elves and reindeer coming that night. However, a sick little one didn't keep us from having some fun. My parents came over for dinner, we made cookies for Santa, and we read The Night Before Christmas. We were ready for Santa!

We wanted to make sure Dasher, Prancer and friends had a snack when they stopped by our house, so we put some carrots outside for them. Coop decided that the reindeer would see them on the sidewalk.

Somehow this is the only picture I have of Austin from Christmas Eve. He was all bundled up to help put out reindeer food. He was a big help, as you can see.
Cuddle time with my freshly bathed, but sick baby.

Cooper took a turn with the camera and did pretty good!

I snuck into the den after Santa came and took a few pictures of the goodies! All Cooper kept talking about was how he hoped Santa would bring him a traffic light. Well, Santa came through--yea!! However...it wasn't working! (Seriously?!? I'm sure Santa had to jump through hoops to get that traffic light to our house so my little boy would be surprised on Christmas morning. And it didn't work?! Geesh.) But leave it to Santa to never let a little boy down. There was a note attached to the traffic light saying that it broke on the sleigh, but Santa would bring a new traffic light soon!

I'm a Stay-at-Home Mom

There is a lot to juggle as a stay-at-home Mama. I happened to be swaying Austin to sleep when Cooper excitedly came into the room, making a siren noise, and wanted to drive his ambulance through the car wash...aka my legs. My camera happened to be within reach, so I captured a small glimpse into juggling my two little guys. Luckily my car wash noise is similar to the "sh-sh-sh" noise I was making for Austin, and I could continue swaying him while doing the car wash "dance." Everyone was happy.

Brotherly Love

As I was putting Cooper to bed recently, he said he wanted to hold Austin. I ran to grab the camera and clicked away.
